Skot-Metal specializes in various fields of bespoke, made-to-measure metalwork.  Equipped with modern machinery and employing a team of 14 qualified personnel we are now based in the heart of industrial Lodz, Poland.
Established in 1987 by Grze Gorz (Grzegorz Gorzkiewicz), Skot-Metal started as a small, two person workshop.  Working in tandem, one person operates a machine that pumps spoons, forks and knives; while the other is spinning bowls that ultimately become planters for flowers.
'97 Restaurant & Pub', constructed by Skot-Metal is awarded the Best Interior of the Year 1996 by the Piotrowska Street Foundation. 'Lodz Kaliska', the notoriously famous Artists Association headquarters in Lodz, Poland, is also a part of our unique, bespoke construction portfolio.
At the beginning of 1992, an opportunity forever changes the profile of the small family business, unknown to most. Grze Gorz, takes a calculated risk and buys a metalwork factory from a bankrupt competitors, including all staff and equipment.  The risk pays off, and the company expands and establishes itself in the heavy-duty metalwork industry.

.
Over the years, Skot-Metal has been changing, expanding; just as life itself.  One thing remains the same: our attention to the needs of individual customers, the market and the changing times.
